The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has slated several projects in Abuja for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to commission in May to mark his second year anniversary in office.

The Minister made this disclosure during an interview with journalists after inspection of the 30.5 kilometre A2-Pai-Gomani road in Kwali Area Council, Saturday.
His words: “President Bola Tinubu would have many projects to commission to commemorate his second year in office.”

According to him, “I would meet with relevant officers before ascertaining exact number of the projects that would be ready for commissioning in May.”

“That would be when I meet with the field officers, but what you should know is that there would be a lot of projects to be commissioned by May for the second anniversary of Mr. President that is certain,” he assured.

Wike expressed satisfaction with the speed and standard of work on the road.

He added, “Let me commend the location site where we are now which is been done by Zerberced -this is A2 to Pai and I’m very much impressed with what I have seen they have shown capacity and it means that they are going to deliver on time.
This is what I have always said that we would give out jobs to those who show capacity and not on sentiment”

The Minister said that on Pai to Gomani, the contractor has done earthworks of about 12km what you saw there has to do with the bridge so they are doing the piling so one might not appreciate until you get down to the end of the village, I still believe that they are also within time.

He, however, charged the contractor to complete the earthwork before the rains start.
