The Mandate Secretary reaffirmed the FCT Administration’s dedication to youth empowerment, emphasizing its efforts to foster creativity, self-reliance, and alternative income generation. He noted that through the Department of Arts and Culture, the Secretariat proudly supports initiatives that showcase young talents and connect them to meaningful opportunities for growth and development.
In her remarks, the Permanent Secretary of the SDS, Mrs. Olowookere Olubunmi, commended the exhibition, describing it as a bridge between tradition and modern innovation. “This exhibition not only celebrates our cultural identity but also equips our youth to excel in today’s fast-changing world,” she said.
Similarly, the Special Adviser to the FCT Minister of State, Mrs. Zamani Helen, applauded the collaboration between the FCT Administration and the Secretariat in advancing initiatives that empower young people and preserve Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
“This exhibition reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to nurturing talent and creating platforms for creative expression — key ingredients for building a sustainable and innovative future,” she stated.
