Abuja Grassroots Group Applaudes Candido Over Withdrawal Of AMAC Marshall On The Roads
Recall that on 31st of June the Chief Advocate of Abuja’s Grassroots Projects (AGRP) Issued a press statement criticizing and reporting the operations of AMAC Marshall 48hrs later Yunusa Yusuf, has applauded the Chairman of Abuja council over what he discribed as resounding decision to stop the services of AMAC Marshall from wrong parking enforcement in the council.
Further, Yunusa said, in the commencement of the Candido’s led administration it started in this way, but wondered why he later deviated at the long run.
He said the taskforce officers were busy disturbing the peace of residents in the city, adding that many victims have fallen victims of their wrong operations, which includes harassment and extortion.
Advocate Yunusa further urged residents to support the new face of AMAC administration to achieve peaceful co-exitence in a multi-religious and multiple-ethnic society of the council.
Advocate Yunusa who made this known shortly after the announcement of AMAC Chairman’s withdrawal of the Marshall from every road, transport and traffic enforcement, during a press briefing advised Nigerians who have been victimized by them to eschew hatred or negative utterance against the council.
He further said, the council chairman should always welcome positive criticism that is capable of making corrective measures and ideas to his administration.
“It is worthy to note that it is extremely on a good fate that the council led by Hon. Abdullahi Candido has started a new leave, this is a good example of a leader with difference and listening ears,” he said.
